1. What this is
Moviz (https://cine-guesser.vercel.app) is a free, browser-based daily movie-guessing game operated by Nicolas, a private individual based in the European Union. By playing, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, simply don't use the site.
2. The service
The game requires no account and costs nothing. Puzzles reset daily; progress and statistics are stored only in your own browser (see the Privacy & Cookie Policy). We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the game at any time, without notice — including resetting puzzle content or mechanics.
3. Fair use
You agree not to:
- attack, overload, probe or disrupt the site or its hosting infrastructure;
- scrape, bulk-download or republish the site's datasets or content as your own;
- use the site in any way that violates applicable law.
4. Intellectual property
- The site's code, design and original text are © Nicolas.
- Movie titles, quotes, character and personal names belong to their respective rights holders. They appear here in minimal, quotation-like form solely to identify films and people in a guessing game — no affiliation with or endorsement by any studio, distributor or person is implied.
- Location photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licenses, with author and license credited beneath each photo.
- Actor and director data derives from Wikidata (CC0).
If you are a rights holder and believe something on the site oversteps, write to moviz.contact@example.com and it will be reviewed promptly.
5. No warranty
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind — including availability, accuracy of film trivia, or that your streak will survive a browser data wipe. It's a free game made for fun.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nicolas is not liable for any indirect or consequential damage arising from playing (or not being able to play) the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or affects mandatory consumer rights under EU or national law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules and the courts of your country of residence.
8. Changes
These terms may be revised as the game evolves; the date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
