The short version: Moviz has no accounts, sets no cookies, runs no analytics or ads, and sends nothing you do to any server. Your game progress lives only in your own browser.
Who runs this site
Moviz (https://cine-guesser.vercel.app) is a free hobby project operated by Nicolas, a private individual based in the European Union, who acts as the data controller for the little processing described below. For any privacy question or request, write to moviz.contact@example.com.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, names, or email addresses — there is nothing to sign up for.
- No cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
- No analytics, advertising, or social-media SDKs.
- No gameplay data leaves your device: guesses, scores and streaks are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
Data stored in your browser (localStorage)
To make the daily game work, Moviz saves your progress in your browser's localStorage. This storage is strictly necessary to provide the game you are asking for (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive), so no consent banner is required. It stays on your device until you delete it and is readable only by this site.

You can erase all of it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings (usually under “Cookies and site data”). The only consequence is losing your stats and streaks.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, USA). Like any web host, Vercel processes the technical data your browser sends when loading a page — including your IP address — in short-lived server logs used to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not access or combine this data with anything else. Transfers to the USA are covered by Vercel's participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses; see Vercel's privacy policy.
Sharing your results
The “Share” button only copies a spoiler-free text grid to your clipboard. Nothing is posted or transmitted anywhere — what you do with the copied text is up to you.

Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Articles 15–21). Because we hold no personal data about you on our side, in most cases there will simply be nothing to act on — but you can always contact us at moviz.contact@example.com, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, children included.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever changes in a way that affects your data (for example, adding analytics), this policy will be updated first and the date above revised. Significant changes that require consent will ask for it before anything is activated.
