Every day Moviz picks one film and shows you a photograph of a real place where it was shot — a street corner, a staircase, a stretch of coastline. Your job is to name the movie. Not the city, not the landmark: the film that turned that spot into a scene.
The photos are chosen to be recognizable as the scene, not postcard views of what stands there today. Read the frame like a location scout — era, light, geography, genre all leak clues.
Free, in your browser, no signup — one daily puzzle shared by every player, plus a six-chapter campaign that ramps from crowd-pleasers to deep cuts.
How it works
- Study the photo of the real filming location.
- Type your guess — the search box matches film titles as you type.
- Wrong answers unlock sharper hints, from a famous quote to the title's first letter.
- Name the film before your guesses run out to keep the streak alive.
Frequently asked questions
Are the photos really from the filming locations?
Yes. Each photo shows the real-world place where the film was shot, sourced from Wikimedia Commons with the photographer credited under the image.
What if a location looks nothing like the movie today?
Places that have changed beyond recognition don't become puzzles — a location is only used while it is still recognizable as the scene it appears in.
